Shipping & Delivery
If a product is in stock we will do our best to see it dispatched within 4 working days. We make every effort to keep the stock information on our website up to date. However, if we are out of stock of your item we will email you with an estimated delivery date then you have the option to confirm or cancel your order.
Christmas shopping 2018 will be updated in full closer to Christmas. For UK customers we recommended ordering before TBC to guarantee delivery before Christmas Day. For Overseas customers we recommend ordering before TBC. Please note our offices and warehouse will be shut for the Christmas holidays between 22nd December and 2nd January 2018. Orders placed during this period will be processed immediately upon our return to the office in the New Year.
Orders placed as Christmas gifts may be returned up to the end of January 2019 for refund or replacement providing they are returned unworn and in mint condition. For further details please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We currently use the carrier service UPS for all deliveries home and overseas. UPS make use of Local Access Points whilst making deliveries. When we book a delivery UPS will check if the address has a local Access Point before attempting to make a delivery. If there is a local Access Point UPS will attempt to deliver the order as usual and if no-one is present to take the delivery in then UPS will leave a card explaining which local Access Point the order has been left securely with. Please note Access Points are usually local shops or supermarkets. If there is no local Access Point UPS will attempt three deliveries before notifying our office for further assistance either delivering to an alternate address or returning to sender. We use UPS for deliveries to destinations outside of the UK. If the shipping destination is located in Russia your parcel will be delivered via Fedex.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees warranties or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and are on the basis that we are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure.
Our offices are usually closed between Christmas Eve and the first working day of January. We can usually dispatch orders up to the 23rd December depending on how the holidays fall. For specific delivery enquiries around this time or for any time sensitive order please do not hesitate to contact us and we can advise. We will provide more details annually in good time for Christmas through the usual social channels and via our newsletter.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be delighted with the products we provide, but if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product you order from us, simply return it to us within 28 days of receipt. We will be happy to refund exchange or issue a voucher to spend with us on a future occasion, provided the product has not been worn and is returned in its original condition with its original packaging and receipt.
If, after purchase, any product fails to give reasonable wear due to either defective workmanship or materials, please contact Customer Services quoting your order number, name and address, details of the product and reason for the return. We should be able to replace, repair, or refund all or part of the purchase price. Please note any alteration to the product after purchase will invalidate any assumed warranty. Lacey’s Footwear operates under the Sale of Goods Acts.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office and send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

Orders & Cancellations
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order in writing up to 8 days from the date of receipt of your goods. You must immediately return the goods at your own cost and claim a refund of the goods within the statutory period. Goods must be returned in their original condition with their original packaging and receipt.
All items are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order
If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.
